Saanio & Riekkola Oy, as it is known today, was established in 1962 and provides specialised consulting services in the field of infrastructure design and radioactive waste disposal. The company specialises in the design of underground construction projects, technology for the disposal of radioactive waste and HVAC design.
Saanio & Riekkola Oy believes that underground construction provides an environmentally-responsible solution to many of the development challenges faced in today’s world.

30.4.2013 - Blasting video of Markkinamäki tunnel
The Markkinamäki tunnel on the Koskenkylä-Kotka motorway has now been excavated through and the video of the last blasting round has been released.
