Increasingly important environmental targets

The Finnish Land Use and Building Act and relevant supplementing decrees came into force in 1999-2000. The aim of the Act is to promote the creation of a healthy, safe, comfortable and socially adapted environment that fulfils the needs of the entire Finnish population. Sound and environmentally-sustainable engineering projects are also the focus of the Finnish national construction programme which was completed in 2002.

Saanio & Riekkola Oy’s environmental targets are consistent with Finnish environmental legislation.
